The Mortons

As the son of Chicago restaurant legend Arnie Morton, Michael grew up steeped in the Chicago steakhouse tradition. Seeking his own fortune, in 1992 he co-founded and opened Drink and Eat, Too in Chicago, followed in 1995 by Drink Las Vegas, one of the first true nightclubs in the city. As stand-alone nightclubs moved into hotel-casinos, Morton co-founded N9NE Group in 1999, which became the most successful restaurant and nightlife company in Las Vegas, which included Rain Nightclub, Ghostbar Ultra Lounge, N9NE Steakhouse and NOVE Italiano and Playboy Club. The sale of N9NE Group led to the creation of Morton Group.

Morton Group was founded in 2010 by famed restaurateurs Michael Morton and Jenna Morton, who believe that dining out is a multi-sensory journey, an escape from reality through mood, food, music, and whatever potion pleases.

Morton Group began with the opening of La Cave Wine and Food Hideaway at Wynn Las Vegas in December 2010. The sexy hideaway celebrates wine and pairs it with a menu as enticing as a coveted vintage.

La Comida followed in May 2013, in the funky Downtown Fremont East District, offering a menu inspired by the cosmopolitan flavors of Mexico City, and proudly boasting more tequilas than seats.

CRUSH American Grill opened in December 2013 at MGM Grand Las Vegas. CRUSH is a celebration of food, drinks and good feelings.

MB Steak was brought to life in May of 2017 in the Hard Rock Hotel which is now transitioning into Las Vegas' Virgin  Casino Resort. Honoring the legacy their father created at Morton's Steakhouse of Chicago, Michael, together with his brother David, began the partnership that is MB Steak.

Greek Sneek made its debut in September of 2018 located inside the MGM Grand Las Vegas, adjacent to CRUSH American Grill. Greek Sneek offers both Greek and Mediterranean cuisine using fresh and classic ingredients, complemented by perfectly-aged wine and spirits.
